SUMMARY:Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Orwellermen are very excited to be performing on the Sat and Sunday at the stellar event of the Sea Shanty calendar. \nEstablished in 2003\, the festival is one of the world’s largest maritime music events\, attracting shanty crews from across the UK\, Europe and further afield. With performances spanning the town—from cosy pubs to professionally engineered main stages\, street corners to parish churches—it’s a true celebration of seafaring heritage and song. \nWe will be cycling to the Festival\, leaving from Ipswich on the 6th June raising funds for RNLI\, Prostate Cancer UK and Selig\, a local charity providing accommodation for homeless people. \n  \n
